I am Gail Bentwood and I buy and sell beautiful things some are old, none are new, but they all have a sense of wonderful beginnings. I also work as a furniture restorer to help you re-invent your home and add some new life to much loved pieces.
My love of all things retro and antique, has travelled with me throughout my life. I grew up in the 1950’s. Dad would arrive back from work to a spick and span home, mom dressed to the nines and the children seen, but not heard. Let’s not forget the swinging 1960’s, baby boomers, flower power, Mary Quant and make love not war! My life has travelled through some of the most memorable and interesting decades in history. From radical change in the 1970’s and through to the millennium, I share my joy in all things old with you! Whether it be retro kitchenalia or quirky furniture, I sell a wide range of interesting and pre-loved items.
